Have you purchased an Ubotie keyboard? Now want to connect it to your iPad? Then this blog is for you. In the article, we discuss about how to turn on Ubotie keyboard and connect the Ubotie keyboard to iPad.
A few months ago I was casually scrolling through Instagram when I came across some Google Pixel ads that popped up in my feed. We’ve used a lot of Google Pixel devices here at Sypnotix, and what caught my eye in the photo was the colorful keyboard in the background with the stylish keycaps and modern design. A quick Google search and a handful of Amazon clicks later, the UBOTIE 100 Key Rainbow Keyboard showed up at my doorstep.
Ubotie is a small Bluetooth keyboard inspired by old retro typewriters and comes in different colors, allowing you to stand out in the office or among your friends. The 84-key design makes it more compact; You can put it in your luggage and take it to a coffee shop or wherever you want to work. You can connect this keyboard to your iPad, iPhone, PC, Laptop, Mac, or Android devices. Moreover, you can connect the Ubotie keyboard to a Macbook air. Let’s discuss that also briefly.

Connectivity of Ubotie Bluetooth keyboard
The UBOTIE Rainbow Keyboard requires two AAA batteries and allows connection to up to three devices via Bluetooth 5.1. According to UBOTIE, the keyboard can pair up to 33 feet away (though realistically, who needs it that far?) Although I went in expecting to love the aesthetics of the keyboard, I was pleasantly surprised by the device’s connectivity. Incredibly effortless and easy.
I bounce daily between my MacBook Pro for work and my personal MacBook Air and select the Bluetooth button that corresponds to the device I want to pair it with. It’s seamless and almost instant every time. I’ve used plenty of Bluetooth keyboards in the past, but have usually had some kind of trouble alternating between devices. I have yet to experience this with the UBOTIE keyboard. A blue light indicator above the Bluetooth keys lets you know which device it’s paired with.
To conserve battery, the keyboard automatically goes to sleep after about 15 minutes of inactivity but resumes fairly quickly after a few keystrokes. I have been using this keyboard daily for a few months now and have yet to see any issues with the battery or connectivity.
