Once you click on the end task button, the Skype icon will quit from the system tray and also, the Skype process will be stoped.
The second method is to sign out from Skype. This is much difficult method but you can quit Skype from itself. First, open the Skype. Then click on the profile icon to get the drop-down menu and select the sign-out option.
Once you have signed out from Skype, you will have an option to exit in the system tray icon which means that when you right-click the Skype icon in the system tray after signed out, there is a “Quit Skype” option.
